For customer assistant data, the customer is typically the controller and Voice AI is typically the processor. Voice AI may be controller for account administration, billing, fraud prevention, and service security data.
Processing is limited to providing, securing, supporting, and improving the contracted service according to customer configuration and documented instructions.
Voice AI will use confidentiality commitments, access controls, tenant isolation, audit logging, incident response procedures, and deletion workflows appropriate to the service risk.
Subprocessors may be used for hosting, databases, observability, communications, AI model processing, payment processing, and support operations.
On termination or valid erasure request, customer data is deleted or anonymized according to the retention matrix and legal obligations.
Backups and immutable logs may age out according to operational retention schedules unless technically feasible to delete earlier.
